How much does it cost to find a home on HomePadi?

We offer different pricing packages based on how long you're willing to search. You pay a flat fee for either a week, month, or longer period. This is much lower than traditional agent fees.

How do I know the listings are legitimate?

Every listing is verified by our team. We check photos, visit properties, and verify outgoing tenants. We also have a zero-tolerance policy for scams.

What happens after I find a home I like?

You can chat directly with the outgoing tenant, arrange viewings, ask questions, and when you're satisfied, we'll facilitate the handover with the property owner.

Do I need to pay anything upfront?

No upfront fees! You only pay the flat fee after a successful handover is completed. This ensures you only pay when you actually find and secure a home.

For Outgoing Tenants

How much can I earn by posting my place?

You earn a small commission, way less than what traditional agents take. The exact amount depends on the rental value and is calculated to be fair for both parties.

Do I need to be the property owner to post?

No! You just need to be the current tenant with permission to find a replacement. We'll help you facilitate the handover with your landlord.

What information do I need to provide?

You'll need to provide your move-out date, apartment details, photos, rent amount, and your contact information. We'll verify everything before posting.

When do I get paid my commission?

You receive your commission soon after a successful handover.

Platform & Process

How does HomePadi make money?

We charge flat fees to home seekers based on their search duration (week, month, or longer). This covers our verification costs, platform maintenance, and customer support.

What cities is HomePadi available in?

Currently available in Accra, Kumasi, and Takoradi. We're expanding to other major cities in Ghana soon.

How long does the process typically take?

Most successful handovers happen within 1-3 weeks. The process is much faster than traditional rental methods since there are no agents involved.

What if something goes wrong?

We have a dedicated support team available 24/7. If there are any issues with verification, payments, or the handover process, we'll help resolve them.

How do you verify tenants and listings?

Our verification process includes ID verification, property visits, photo verification, and landlord confirmation. We also conduct background checks on all users.

Payment & Security

How do I pay the flat fee?

We accept Mobile Money (MoMo), bank transfers, and card payments. Payment is only required after a successful handover.

Is my personal information secure?

Yes, we use bank-level encryption to protect all your personal and financial information. We never share your data with third parties without your consent.

What happens if the handover fails?

If a handover fails due to issues on our end, you won't be charged the flat fee. We also provide support to help resolve any issues that arise.
